Emily in Paris is officially heading into its final chapter. Netflix has confirmed that Season 6 will premiere December 24, 2026, and the first-look photos might answer one of the biggest questions left by Season 5: Does Emily make it to Greece?
Season 5 ended with Gabriel sending Emily a postcard inviting her to join him in Greece after learning that she and Marcello had broken up. The new Season 6 photos show Emily and Gabriel together there, leading many fans to believe she accepted the invitation.
Netflix has not revealed what happens between them, but Gabriel is clearly back in Emily’s orbit. Darren Star previously said the two still had feelings for each other and hoped Emily would say yes to Gabriel’s invitation.
Season 6 began filming in Greece in May before production moved to Monaco and then Paris. Filming is still underway in France. Star has said he wanted the final season to feel like the biggest Emily in Paris experience yet, with Greece getting a major spotlight while Paris remains the show’s home base.
Netflix’s official description also makes it clear that Emily’s ending will not be about romance alone. New career conflicts and changing relationships will force her to reconsider what she wants her future to look like.
That career conflict may already have been set up in Season 5. Agence Grateau was facing serious financial trouble before Princess Jane stepped in as a new business partner. Star previously teased that Jane could complicate things for Sylvie and Emily, even suggesting Emily could risk being pushed out.
Minnie Driver is officially returning as Princess Jane. Her filming schedule briefly changed after she was injured in a serious car accident in France in August. Driver suffered a sprained neck and returned to London to recover, but production continued as planned and only one of her scenes reportedly needed to be rescheduled. She has since confirmed she is back at work.
Mindy also enters the final season with a major decision ahead. Season 5 ended with her accepting Nicolas de Léon’s proposal after she had also developed feelings for Alfie. The first-look photos show Mindy with both Nico and Alfie, and Paul Forman and Lucien Laviscount are confirmed to return.

There are still a few casting questions. Thalia Besson has not been announced for Season 6, but Geneviève may not be gone for good. After Season 5 aired, Star said they had ideas for Geneviève and that she could return in a completely different way.
Marcello’s future is less clear. Eugenio Franceschini has not been announced as part of the Season 6 cast. Emily and Marcello ended Season 5 after realizing they wanted different lives, and Star has not publicly teased a Season 6 return for him.
The confirmed returning cast includes Lily Collins, Ashley Park, Lucas Bravo, Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu, Samuel Arnold, Bruno Gouery, William Abadie, Lucien Laviscount, Minnie Driver and Paul Forman.
Emily in Paris Season 6 premieres December 24 on Netflix.
